An ecumenical celebration of prayer and prayerful action sponsored by a worldwide movement of Christian women. Join in the prayer service written by the women of Slovenia, who invite us to explore Jesus’ parable of the Great Dinner (in Lk. 14:15–24) with the theme “Come— Everything Is Ready.” The event is sponsored locally by the United Methodist Church of Shandaken, 7358 State Route 28. Short program includes prayer, readings and a sampling of different foods of Slovenia. Time: 2:00–3:00 pm. If inclement weather, the event will be held on Saturday, March 2. All are welcome!
